Dumped senior dog full of love found on Californian desert highway finds furever home thanks to San Franciscan dog rescue with senior citizen who says: ‘She is the most wonderful thing that's happened to me’

Doggos are dumped at an alarming rate all around the world, and a large percentage of them are simply sweet darling whose family's have given up on. That is the tale of the pupper in this story, and thankfully she found her way to a home that would love her furever.

It is hard to understand, especially as we do not know the reasons that most dogs get dumped. But what we can asertain is that the act of abandoning a dog is one shame and desperation. It is not the actions of a calm and rational person. Meaning that we can rejoice that at the very least the doggo will no longer have to handle the horror of living with that hooman. However, there is still the matter of the doggo and finding them a home. Which in this story is one of the most wholesome journeys we have come across.

Because unlike many dumped doggos this one was pawfect, no health issues, no behavioral issues, just a slightly older dog looking to give as much love as she received, if not more. Which she was lucky enough to find in arms of her furever pawrent through a heartwarming program that connects senior doggos up for adoption with senior citizens looking for a loyal friend.

Goodness this is just beyond heartbreaking. This is obviously such a good dog who has been dumped and left to deal with her own fate. And what makes it even sadder is how she seems to be so aware of her own fate in this situation. To be so willing to come along with a person she has never met before just shows how sure she was that she had been abandoned. A feeling that hooman, let alone doggo, deserves to feel in their lifetime. Thank goodness there was a heroic hooman nearby who was ready to scoop this angel up and give her the home she deserved.

Awww, honestly we cannot get over these situations in which the best of dogs are put in the worst of situations all because of their age. It is not like you could say that this sweetie had any behavioral problems, nor could you say that her health was in decline. This is a doggo who was literally in her prime and yet her family who invested so much time, love and effort in her suddenly decided to turn their backs on her. Why, we will never know, but what we do know is that whoever will get to be lucky enough to adopt her now will be gifted one of the greatest doggos out there.
